Worship Pastor - Tony Robinson

Hello, My name is Tony Robinson and I serve as the Music Ministries Pastor at Rose Heights Church. I am in my fifth year of serving as Minister of Music. I have been in full time ministry for six years. God placed a calling on my life at the young age of 13. I came to know the Lord at the age of  nine through a Vacation Bible School Ministry and was churched through a city bus ministry in Virginia. I have always had a love for music and singing. I remember the first time I ever sang at church. (It was pretty scary) I didn't do justice to Amy Grant as I butchered "My Fathers Eyes."  Anyway, after high school God confirmed the calling he had placed on my life several years earlier. 

I attended Lee University and studied Church Music, and was a part of several campus ministries that helped to prepare me for what God wanted me to do. It was also there that God gave me the greatest thing he could give someone. My wife Amy! We were married in May of 1999 and she is a vital part of anything I do. She enhances every part of the ministry we share together. Before coming to Rose Heights, we served in the Tampa FL area for 10 months. We have two beautiful daughters, Leighton, four and Olivia, one. They are definitely gifts from God.  Leighton is already picking up a microphone and singing with Mommy and Daddy!   

In my spare time I love anything that deals with aviation and I am an avid but under average golfer (18 handicap). My passion is leading people into God's holy presence through praise and worship and the arts and seeing people come into a relationship with Jesus Christ!
