Fellowship Pastor - David Savage

Hello and welcome to Fellowship at Rose Heights.  My name is David Savage and I am the Fellowship Pastor here at Rose Heights.  My wife April and I help people Connect in our Church by building relationships with fellow believers through athletics, similar interest, and life specific opportunities Fellowship.   Whether you are a first time visitor who has just been greeted or you have been here your whole life, what you will find is warmth, love and hospitality in everything we do here at Rose Heights.  Fellowship can be found in everything we do from Missions to Discipleship to Athletics to the mundane tasks we have to perform.  Fellowship is life, and it gets sweeter with every new memory and friendship forged. 

I grew up in Duluth, GA (North Atlanta) and have attended Georgia, Lee University and have finally finished my education by becoming “fully divine” (ministerial joke) with a Masters of Divinity from Gardner-Webb University.  While in Seminary God gave me my second greatest gift, my beautiful wife April.  We met in a Baptist Prayer Room in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.  Sounds picturesque doesn’t it?  She is my biggest help in ministry and I love her so much.  And, one day she will be my “Little Bahamas Momma,” just not yet.  After all, April is a Bahamian born and raised.  Now I know what you are thinking.  “Missions trip,” am I right?  After all they need to hear about Jesus in the Bahamas.  Well just let me know and we can arrange that.

My wife and I are so thankful to serve here at Rose Heights, a church that sought God about a vision and then waited for God to bring us here to labor in that vision for all of Tyler and East Texas.  We love meeting new people and adding them to the Kingdom through Fellowship.  So, if you are not involved, WHY NOT?  And if you have been waiting for a personal invite, here it is.  Please come join us, we’re having a blast!
