Rose Heights Church is guided by the mission and purpose expressed by Jesus in the Gospels. Jesus called us to love God with everything, and to love those around you as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39; Mark 12:30-31; Luke 10:27). From the example of Christ flows our mission and purpose in this world.

Our Mission is to be a balanced church, loving and equipping the body to reach our families, our community and the world for Christ. We want to be a part of Christ's mission on this earth to reach out.
Our Purpose can be expressed with five words: Discipleship, Outreach, Fellowship, Evangelism, and Worship (DOFEW). This is our purpose and way in Christ.
Worship - is the beginning of your new life in Christ. God calls us to live a life that worships and glorifies Him.
Fellowship - is becoming part of God's family and church. God wants us to live in community with each other, helping and challenging one another.
Discipleship - is growing in Christ. God wants us to be followers who know His voice through studying the scripture, prayer and making disciples.
Evangelism - is bringing others to Christ. God wants us to share the hope and love that is within us to others.
Outreach - is reaching out to those in need. God wants us to care for those who are hurting and be his helping hands.
Being a balanced church is important to us. This means integrating our faith into our hearts and minds. God made us both thinking and feeling. He said to worship Him in both Spirit and Truth. We encourage followers of Christ to engage God intellectually and emotionally; loving him with all of our heart, all of our mind and all of our strength. |
