YOU’RE INVITED TO UNITE @ ROSE HEIGHTS!

ROSE HEIGHTS STUDENT CENTER
THURSDAYS @ 7:00 PM!
DOORS OPEN AT 6:30 PM!

At UNITE, it’s all about relationship NOT religion! We don’t want the religious stuff — a cool event, a Sunday morning faith, or just another label added to our lives! We’re a community of college students and young adults who are desperate to grow closer to Jesus, actively seeking to find and follow HIS calling on our lives, and are for real about helping other people walk with God themselves!

Join us Thursdays at 7 pm to encounter God’s presence in worship, get to know Him more through God’s Word, and then activate that Word in student/young adult led small group discussion — growing closer to each other as we grow closer to Him

And, nothing shouts that we’re genuine more than building a community that loves God and loves each other! So, routine hangouts, events, and spontaneous after-service lunch/dinner runs are a big part of who we are!

So, invite some friends and join us soon!

Fall Retreat Details!

DEPARTURE INFO: We’ll have two shifts of vans leaving for Beavers Bend, Friday, September 20th at 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. If you are riding in those vans or would like to follow us in your own vehicle, please arrive early so that we can leave on time. We will return the following Sunday afternoon around 5:00 pm!

DIRECTIONS: Google Map

SCHEDULE: Friday evening, we’ll settle in at our respective cabins, hang out, and grill our first meal together. Saturday, we’ll start the day with a great breakfast and a morning devotional, after which we will go on an awesome 4 mile kayaking trip! That evening we’ll have smoked, pulled pork sandwiches, build a campfire, roast marshmallows, make S’MORES and do live worship around the fire — it’ll be great! Then, Sunday, we’ll have another good breakfast, short devotional, make our lunches, clean up our cabins, and head back home. We should arrive back in Tyler around 3 pm.

CABIN INFORMATION: Talako Lodge, Breckoma Cabin, Sasquatch Hills Cabin, and Autumn Point Cabin.  The cabins are incredibly nice, with hotel-like amenities — even hot tubs and pool tables! We will have a bed for each person on the trip, but that may mean doubling up with another person in Queen or King sized beds. It also may include futons and couch beds. If you get a bed that will not work for you, we will have air mattresses available as an alternative arrangement. We are at max capacity and very much appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we try to make this a great experience for everyone!
